Combining themes of love, longing and self-expression, Emily Rhodes’ honest and relatable lyricism brings a sense of positivity and an uplifting energy to listeners.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Dolly Parton, CMAT, Johnny Cash, Kacey Musgraves and Jade Bird, Emily blends Americana, pop, rock and country. her most recent single ‘Red Button’ is a bright and energetic track exploring a sense of belief and desire to not give up.

Originally from Lancashire, Emily is now based in Liverpool, where she studied music (songwriting & performance) at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Her songs have featured on BBC Introducing many times and she was shortlisted for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Introducing competition.

Upon graduating from LIPA, Emily had a 1:1 songwriting session with  Sir Paul McCartney.

Emily has performed across the UK, most recently at The Cavern Club, headlining The Jacaranda, and sets at venues including Arts Bar Hope Street, The Ferret (Preston), Bootleg Social (Blackpool) and Kanteena (Lancaster).

Her upcoming single 'Famous to Me' will be available on all streaming platforms Friday 7th August.
